 What does private jewellery collections insurance cover?

• Worldwide wearing cover for jewellery collection.
• Cover whilst at the insured's premises.
• Cover whilst in safe or bank vault.

 
What are five key considerations when placing jewellery collections insurance?

• What is the security like at the insured's premises? Do they have a safe to place jewellery in when not being worn? Do they have a back to base alarm?
• Are jewellery items ever left unattended?
• What is the value of the jewellery? When was it last valued? For instance, items with pink or blue diamonds can appreciate a lot over a year. Does the sum insured reflect the true value of the items?
• Does the insured travel overseas with jewellery often?
• How much wearing cover does the insured need? Do they need wearing cover for their whole collection? Or would they only ever wear half their jewellery at one time?

 
What can Quantum provide?
