​What does corporate fine art collections cover?

• Full cover for collection whilst at your premises.
• Cover at unnamed locations.
• Exhibition cover.
• Transit cover including via professional couriers and via Personal Conveyance.

 
What are five key considerations when placing corporate fine art collections insurance?

• What does the collection consist of? Is it mainly painting, antiques, furniture or sculptures?
• Where are they located? Are they on display to the public? Are they in the open - for instance, statues and sculptures? Are they displayed at your office or are they stored at a fine art storage facility?
• What security is at the premises both during business hours and at night?
• Have the items been recently valued? How much are the items worth? How much should they be insured for and are these values likely to appreciate or depreciate much over a year?
• Will the items be moved over the year (to valuers, conservators or taken to and from exhibitions). How will these items be moved and does the insured require transit cover?
• Will the items be placed on exhibition? Does the insured need exhibition cover?
