​What does exhibitions insurance cover?

• Stock whilst being exhibited during exhibition hours.
• Overnight storage in organiser’s vault or safe retained at booth.
• Transits to and from Exhibition, either personally conveyed or by secure courier.

 
 What are five key considerations when placing exhibitions insurance?

• Goods to be displayed in locked showcases throughout Exhibition.
• If being shown to customers, goods to be removed, shown and then returned to locked showcase.
• Booth should have CCTV with recording facility. This provides vital evidence when a loss occurs.
• If displaying loose diamonds, ensure expensive items are weighed before and after showing goods to customers, this avoids thieves switching expensive diamonds with zirconia fakes.
• Ensure the booth is adequately staffed, most losses occur when staff are distracted during busy times.
